Music Experience Project
Seattle, WA
“A building unlike any other in the world, a unique experience to build. Clayton was proud to be an integral part of this project”

The EMP is a "black box" in a voluptuously undulating musical form, dedicated to Jimi Hendrix, commissioned by Paul Allen. A modern museum with elaborate and grand open spaces. Clayton's $5.95 Million contract encompassed the intumescent fireproofing, high density fireproofing, sprayed insulation and board insulation throughout the entire project. The unique structure created many unusual access challenges which were no problem for the Clayton team.
